13 French Soldiers Captured by Syrian forces in Syria.?

The French foreign ministry has denied reports in the Lebanese media that 13 of its soldiers had been captured by Syrian forces.  The ministry refuted “the idea that there are French troops on the ground in Syria.” The Defense Ministry also said it had no information on the issue, adding it “neither confirms nor denies” the allegation. The Daily Star newspaper said, citing its sources, that France and Syria were in the midst of negotiations to free the soldiers.
