Genting S'pore posts Q4 net profit of S$262m

22.02.2012
Genting Singapore has bounced back into the black in its fiscal fourth quarter.
It booked a net profit of S$262 million for the three months ended in December 2011.
That's a sharp rebound from the S$150 million loss in the same period a year ago.
The improvement is due to higher earnings from its integrated resort at Sentosa, as well as lower taxes and impairment losses.
Revenue came in at S$786.3 million, up by a touch year-on-year.
For the year as a whole, revenue hit S$3.22 billion, up by 18 per cent from the previous year.
And net profit hit S$1.02 billion, up sharply from almost S$38 million in 2010.
Genting Singapore has declared a dividend of one cent per share.
